200+ rock song catalog...Interested? Hello Makin Music , I had significant interest at age 19 from both Aerosmith's and Lenny Kravitz' management team and I was on the radio at the time all over Boston and Massachusetts. For a variety of reasons, I declined the opportunities, went to business school and became a financially successful white collar guy. However, I still made/make a full album or two almost every year for friends and family. I play every instrument, write and have a similar voice to Eddie Veddar of Pearl, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots or, later, the guy from Creed (though I was on the radio a year before the Seattle grunge thing came to the forefront). My music is something like Neil Young meets Pink Floyd or later Soundgarden/Pearl Jam meets Radiohead. Anyway, I am 50 years old now. But, I still make a high quality, interesting rock album almost every year for friends and family. Truth is, I never wanted fame or others to hear my songs/voice/instrumentation other than those close to me. I preferred my privacy. But, as I have become firmly entrenched in middle age and have seen my one time peers almost close their books on new creations, die off (Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Weiland), etc., I finally feel like I want my music to be known and for it to receive its proper recognition (as my peers have). I have come to regret that the music composed and performed by those men is globally acclaimed and mine is mostly unheard despite having the very same level of talent (more in most cases). I can sing and write music like all of them, yet few of them can play instruments at my level or could complete full albums entirely on their own (no other musicians, engineers, etc) in a week or two (any number of times per year that I wish). Cobain, Veddar or Weiland could sing at my level, but certainly weren't my equal on guitar or could likely create the kind of song volume on command that I that I can (for instance). I'd like to send you some of my music to see if we can sell/lease it and get it out there. I regret not doing this earlier and would like to leave some sort of musical legacy behind while there is still time.. I have a large catalog spanning several decades. I have complete songs with vocals/instrumentation dating all the way back to age 5 (though I won't be sending those). :) I just re-recorded a couple of my songs from the last decade in an LA Studio owned and operated by Little Richard's former guitarist. I can send you those for starters. I look forward to your reply.
